Course Description

ParaView is an open source, freely available program for parallel, interactive, scientific visualization (http://www.paraview.org). This class will introduce the user to the installation and usage of Paraview, giving a basic overview of Paraview's capabilities. The majority of the class will cover how to navigate the user interface and how to manipulate a piece of data using built-in data sources and filters. Also covered will be the Paraview's modes of operation, though the primary focus will be on the GUI mode.
