Don is the group leader for the ARSC Consult group and was previously an ARSC HPC Specialist. Midnight is a Sun Opteron system running SuSE Linux Enterprise 9 and is the most recent HPC system to be installed at ARSC. This lecture is a general overview of midnight and includes topics: such as: system hardware, compiling and debugging code, and use of the PBS queuing system. Pre-registration is not required for this course.
