ARSC is concerned for the safety and security of your data and programs as well as the data of all of our users. Therefore, ARSC, along with our sponsoring agency, the High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP), requires that all users of our systems complete a short Information Assurance Awareness (IAA) training briefing. Two versions of this training are available:
- The official DISA Flash presentation
- ARSC Developed Slides
The ARSC briefing is in compliance with DOD Instruction 8500.2 (http://www.dtic.mil/whs/directives/corres/pdf/i85002_020603/i85002p.pdf) and has been adapted to better fit ARSC's academic environment. Please see the individual sections below to see which training version is right for you.
In addition to the initial training, all user's will need to have annual IAA refresher training. Currently, this consists of re-taking either the ARSC or the DISA training listed below. Please contact User Support if you have any questions about IAA training.
