ARSC is concerned for the safety and security of your data and programs as well as the data of all of our users. Therefore, ARSC, along with our sponsoring agency, the High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP), requires that all users of our systems complete three short on-line courses: Information Assurance Awareness, Portable Electronic Devices and Anti-Phishing.
In addition to the initial training, all user's will need to re-take the Information Assurance Awareness training as an annual refresher. ARSC will notify you at the beginning of the month in which your training expires. You will have until the end of the month to complete the training and submit the new certificate to ARSC. At the end of the month, if you have not completed the training, your ARSC accounts will be placed in an Inactive status.
The completion certificates can be faxed to 907-450-8601, scanned and emailed to User Support , or brought in person to our office in the UAF West Ridge Research Building.
Note that ARSC is no longer providing a localized version of the IAA training. You will need to take either the DoD version or the Non-DoD version from the Information Assurance Environment (IASE) Portal.
