These policies are designed to facilitate everyone's productive use of the ARSC Discovery Lab (DLab).
Faculty, registered students and staff who have been certified as Discovery
Laboratory Operators (DLOs) are permitted to use the DLab without other
supervision. DLOs operating the facility are responsible for the safe-keeping
of the hardware. This
includes supervising other individuals that the DLO has allowed in the DLab.

to arrange for training, also to gain access to the DLab, you must also
submit a Visualization Lab Access Agreement.
Each weekday, an updated schedule will be posted in the DLab. Any time unscheduled as of 8 a.m. will be open for reservation

facility.
If you do not have access to the MeetingMaker Calendar system, please schedule time by email to or .
Drop-in users are welcome to work in the lab, but users who show up within 15 minutes of the beginning of their reserved
designated time in MeetingMaker will preempt drop-ins. Please be respectful of those who have reserved designated time in
MeetingMaker.
If you are in need of an alternative VR resource, consider reserving/using the ImmersaDesk in the ARSC Technology Lab in
WRRB.
Scheduled summer tours are held weekly between 12:30 and 2:30 on Wednesdays. Users are welcome in
the DLab during this time, but please do not enter and exit while a tour is in session, as the doors are noisy and distracting.
Please also refrain from creating a distraction to the tour group by talking. We will attempt to schedule tours outside of the
regular public tour on work days between 12:30 and 2:30 on an as-needed basis (check MeetingMaker).
