The Arctic Region Supercomputing Center at UAF is the sole provider of open research computing capabilities for the Defense Department's High Performance Computing (HPC) Modernization Program. As a DoD Supercomputing Resource Center, ARSC serves both academic and agency interests. ARSC provides a virtual tour of its supercomputers and storage systems at the ARSC Discovery Lab every Wednesday at 1 p.m., June 4 - Aug. 27. Discovery Lab tours offer visitors a chance to view the latest 3-D applications in development at UAF and take a leap into virtual reality. Park in the Taku visitor lot, walk up the hill, take a right at the top on Tanana Loop and find the first loading dock on the left behind Rasmuson Library. Tour size limited to 20 participants on first-come, first-served basis. Please come early to secure a seat.
