Introduction to Unix

Description
This class will cover a brief introduction to the basic
syntax of the Unix/Linux operating systems. It is intended
for first time or novice Unix learners.

Registration
This class will have an optional hands-on component. As such, potential students must either have an existing ARSC account or will be required to show proof of citizenship. For those who already have an ARSC account, please bring your secure id card with you to the class.
For those who do not have an ARSC account, please bring
- U.S. citizens: passport, birth certificate, or naturalization papers
- Non-U.S. citizens: PASSPORT + proof of being legally in the country (visa or green card)
Alternately, you may bring your own laptop with Unix/Linux already installed.
