Mexican west coat resorts...Los Cabos is not my favorite. I have also been to
Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Zihuatenejo. Cabos is expensive, it is too touristy,
it caters to gringos (Planet Holleywood, Pizza Hut, ...), but it is sunny and it
is fun. 'Tis very dry there, I would like to see more of the baja (particularly
less tourist developed areas).
Puerto Vallarta I was only in for a couple days in the middle of a several year work
project from hell (converting IBM mainframe application environment to Unix)... as
a break from the grind it was great, but I was not there enough to form an impression.
Mazatlan I like, it is starting to develop as being more resort like, but still relaxing.
Zihuatenejo is a recent discovery (August 1999)... I have to go back there again.
